International Social Studies Olympiad (ISSO) Exam Pattern & Syllabus:
SOF International Social Studies Olympiad (ISSO) is a prestigious competition that challenges students to showcase their knowledge and skills in various areas of Social Studies. The exam pattern typically consists of multiple-choice questions, and problem-solving tasks that assess a student's understanding of Social Studies. The syllabus covers a wide range of topics, including but not limited to forest, gender, religion and caste, money and credit, and print culture. International Social Studies Olympiad (ISSO) Eligibility Criteria:
Students from classes 3 - 10, enrolled in a school recognized by SOF are eligible for International Social Studies Olympiad (ISSO). Students from particular classes can appear for that class’s Olympiad only. Other than this there are no eligibility criteria.
How To Participate in the International Social Studies Olympiad (ISSO)
Students should apply and submit the form for the SOF International Social Studies Olympiad (ISSO) at least 30 days before the exam date.
Students cannot submit their applications individually. Applications will only be submitted via the schools.

SOF International Social Studies Olympiad (ISSO) Level-1 dates are out now. Date 1 of SOF ISSO Level-1 is 10th December 2024 and Date 2 is 23rd January 2025.

In the upcoming academic year 2024-25, winners of the SOF International Social Studies Olympiad (ISSO) will be presented with a range of ISSO awards and scholarships. These include international, zonal, and school topper awards for classes 3 to 10. The top three international rank holders will receive cash awards, medals, and certificates, while zonal and school-level winners will also be recognized. Schools and educators are also acknowledged for their contribution to students' success, with awards and scholarships at international, zonal, and district levels. Appreciation certificates and gifts are also extended to principals and teachers for their dedication and efforts.
