GUIDELINES - 2ND LEVEL OLYMPIADS

The second level Olympiads will be conducted on Sunday 12th February 2023 as per the following schedule:

Students qualifying for the 2nd level Olympiad exams may note following guidelines carefully:
QUALIFIERS
List of 2nd level qualifiers is shared with respective schools along with the declaration of respective Olympiad results. Results of above exams uploaded on our site also indicate whether a student has qualified for the 2nd level exams (http://results.sofworld.org/results)
VENUE
Centres for Second level Olympiad exams have been finalized in all major cities of India and in all countries, participating in SOF Olympiad exams, across the globe. Centres allocated to qualifying students will be shared by the 1st week of Feb'23 through their respective schools.
ADMIT CARDS
Admit cards, in duplicate, will be made available to students as under:
- These will be couriered to respective schools from where students have qualified for 2nd level exams and
- These will be uploaded on our site www.sofworld.org by the 1st week of Feb 2023 and
- These will be e-mailed to respective schools on request and
- Students may also use the admit cards issued to them for 1st level exams. They may write to SOF at info@sofworld.org OR result@sofworld.org in February 2023 for the address of their exam centre.
- Students may collect their admit cards (in duplicate) by either of the above modes, paste their color passport size photographs on both copies of admit cards and get them attested (signed and stamped) by school authorities.
- The admit cards carry details of venue address and time of the exam. Students must carry both copies of admit cards to the test centre, where one copy will be retained by the centre. Separate set of admit cards must be carried for each 2nd level Olympiad for which students have qualified.
- Students may not be allowed to appear in the Olympiad in the absence of attested admit cards with the photograph.
- Roll numbers of students will be the same as allotted for the first level exams.
- Students must report at the allocated exam center at least 30 minutes before the commencement of exam.
- Students will be allowed entry in the exam hall 15 minutes before the commencement of exam to enable them settle down and fill in their particulars in the OMR sheet.
- Students will not be allowed entry in the exam hall 10 minutes after commencement of exam. No extra time will be provided to such candidates to complete the exam.
- Students may leave the exam hall only after completion of exam time. Students will not be allowed to leave the exam hall while the exam is in progress, without the permission of the invigilator.
- Students will be given 60 minutes to complete the exam.
PARENTS/GUARDIANS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ENTRY IN THE EXAM CENTERS
GENERAL
- 2nd level Olympiads will be held for all students (from classes three to twelve) who qualify for the 2nd level.
- The exams will be pen and paper exams with multiple choice questions. There will be no negative marking.
- A student qualifying for the 2nd level does not need to re-register for the 2nd level. Admit cards will be sent/shared as per admit card details shared above.
- Students may use the question paper for doing rough work.
- No student is permitted to carry any textual material - printed or written, bits of paper, calculator, mobile phone, any electronic device etc. in the exam hall. There will be no provision at the exam centre for safekeeping of these material and students may make their own arrangements for safekeeping of their personal belongings.
- Admit cards and pen/pencil only will be permitted in the exam hall.
- Any candidate found using unfair means may be expelled from the examination centre. In case use of unfair means is detected after the exam is over, the result of such student(s) may not be declared and they will not be eligible for any award or certificate.
SYLLABUS/PATTERN
Syllabus for the exams would be similar to 1st level exams. Level of difficulty may, however, be higher. For details, please visit www.sofworld.org
